The Apostolic Ministries International-TAMI
The Apostolic Ministries International (TAMI) is a dynamic, rapidly growing Christian organization which focuses on proclaiming Jesus Christ and planting churches in various nations. Founded by Pastor Anison Samuel and Pastor Alias Jacob in 2001, TAMI has seen the work of the Holy Spirit transform people’s lives as over hundreds of churches have been planted in 13 different nations and established partnerships in many other nations, through the last 10 years. Under the leadership of Pastor Prathibha Rao, Missions Director of TAMI, there are two major mission fields; one in India; with works in Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, Mumbai, Kerala, Karnataka and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and the other in Africa, which has seen extreme success in the nations of Kenya, Uganda, Burundi, Rwanda, Congo, Zanzibar (Tanzania), Ethiopia and Nigeria. The International Schools of Discipleship has been a major contributing factor of TAMI’s growth with over 1,500 disciples trained and equipped by the Word of God and the Holy Spirit. God willing, TAMI will be launching its first International School of Discipleship in the nation of Cameroon in August, 2011.
2011 Vision for International School of Discipleship
During 2011, TAMI has a vision to conduct two Schools of Discipleship, one in Dubai-UAE and the second in Cameroon in the month of August.
In hosting a Bible School in Cameroon, TAMI desires to strengthen the existing Body of Christ and pioneer a new work in unreached areas by equipping ministers who can move forward as apostles, preachers, teachers and evangelists, providing effective answers to a nation that struggles with such great questions as poverty, sickness and HIV. As these disciples go forward in their callings, TAMI believes the result will be dramatic break-through and church growth in Africa and the Middle East.
